as someone who lives kinda in the midwest (its a blend of SW, midwest, and south), i can say that (at least) nobody here is eating raw meat. people in OK are very proud of their barbecue. it doesnt touch the carolinas or alabama but its okay... i just wish cacs in oklahoma would stop slow cooking bologna in a smoker.
