I lived in NYC for 6 years. Its gets very racist. But thats what people don't really like to say.You not wrong...but there is a tremendous amount of racism in major cities as well. In my era if you didn't know someone working the club in LA or NYC (non racist cities right?) you prolly won't get in....something about dress code....capacity....whatever...
I have friends who are other races who can run around cities acting a fukkING fool....and police will politely tell them to chill out...gentrification really brought it out and showed how I already knew it was
Racism is literally everywhere in America. Even your most liberal and "progressive" cities in America (supposedly) have extremely segregated neighborhoods that were once black like in SF that are now vast vestiges of white wealth from the tech industry. And the growing population of black homeless people.
Can't forget Portland...in Oregon...a state that Black people were literally banned from moving there until not even 100 years ago.
California once tried to ban Black people from moving there too.
I don't know what world people live in where folk want to say one place is less racist than another in America when it is literally EVERYWHERE.
Cause America was designed to be a white supremacist country. It's at every level in every function in every state county and city and town in America.
