ESPN's Top 10 Center list:

1. Kareem
2. Wilt
3. Russell
4. Shaq
5. Hakeem
6. Moses
7. Robinson
8. Ewing
9. Mikan
10. Walton

I think Jokic is already better than Ewing, Mikan, and Walton. He has a ways to go before being better than David Robinson.
He is probably better than Moses Malone too, and I think he will zoom past David Robinson if he ever gets a title.

Jokic is probably the best offensive center in NBA history.

Through year 7 the thread has him over every center in history except the top 5 of this list…probably surpasses Dream by years end, cause fukk it why not

And I’d argue he hasn’t even tangibly surpassed Dwight Howard in actual on court accomplishments

He probably is the best offensive center ever but he ain't with Moses yet. Moses was also a great offensive player...

Jokic is coming, I ain't ready to put him over Mo yet...

No disrespect to Dwight Howard, but there's nothing he's done that's topping two MVP's.:pachaha:.

I’d argue that his run as a perennial DPOY/All NBA 1st teamer that took his team to the Finals is nothing to sneeze at…and matches up especially well to MVP seasons culminating in 6th seeds and only winning ONE singular playoff game…but yeah, I’m well aware winning MVP comes with historical prestige that just throws all that to the wayside

A third one this year probably puts him passed Hakeem too

Moses was not a great offensive player but on the level of Jokic. He was a great scorer, but his game was predicated on high activity. He outworked everyone for his buckets.

Jokic can do everything Moses Malone could do offensively, in addition to shooting range, passing ability, playmaking and initiating the offense. I would 100% take Jokic over Malone at their peaks.

Dwight was excellent, and it wasn't meant as a slight to him, but the MVP's just weight it too heavily.

Dwight's a second player that's had a better career than Melo too. :pachaha: .

I'm not ready to put Jokic on any lists in year 7, I'll wait to see how his career plays out. But it's funny for all the crying about the supposed historical value of the MVP, you hardly ever hear anyone speak Moses' name despite him having 3 and a Finals MVP. None of this shyt matters to anyone unless they feel an MVP comes at the expense of their favorite player, or threatens their favorite players' legacies. Joker was in high leverage playoff games hittin one legged 3s all net and whippin Magic Johnson passes and cats are like "he's just chris kaman with a foreign name." Barring injuries, da balletic polar bear goose GAWD gonna keep hurtin feelings.

He wasn't on Jokic's level, I'm just pointing out he was probably the greatest offensive rebounder ever and a dominant scorer around the rim. His prime is devalued in the present day, I'm not putting Jokic over him yet. I want to see more but I don't disagree Jokic is likely the greatest offensive C and well on his way to passing a bunch of people...

How many players are really shytted on for their perceived lack of defense by these "analysts"? How many of them shyt on Zion's defense? Or Ja's? Or Dame's?

I think some of y'all just want certain players' flaws to be highlighted to save face because you don't really fukk with them. It's why almost every time you discuss Jokic, you shoehorn his lack of defense into the conversation.

Several DPOY and beat Bron to get to a Finals.

Obviously it ain't league MVP, but Dwight had a good run.

I'm not knocking Dwight.

But, in terms of career and accolades, Jokic has the better one. He'll likely have another first-team all-NBA this year as well.

DPOTY is great, especially three consecutive, but back to back MVP's, and possibly three consecutive is nearly impossible to match.
