Fake or not, some food just doesn't take good pictures. A lot of soul food doesn't look good on camera to me, no matter how tasty it is. And if you've never tried it it could throw you off. So u got to present it in nice dishes and arrange a certain way for it to look appealing to some folks.

I'm 100% black and I don't f*ck with African food. Tried it 3 times. The amount of oil used is insane. Soon as it hits my mouth I just can't f*ck with it.

I had a Liberian roommate in college. He was cool as hell. His family came to visit and his Mom cooked him his favorite traditional meal and it had the whole apartment smelling like literal shyt. We wasn't even tripping because he was so happy.
