It's not about being upset at the online stuff. Obviously one shouldn't let that bother them. I think it's just that it's not good to really silence a thread about it like in this case here, because people who post comments like that online will feel compelled to replicate it in real life if there isn't enough criticism of it. But that's just meThere's a difference between someone posting racist comments online and someone being racist to your face in real life.
