No dog in this race but if I’m putting in a food/drink order and I specifically say I don’t want a specific ingredient in my order that means I don’t what that specific ingredient in my order. That should be the end of conversation.

Why should I have to justify why I don’t want that particular ingredient?

That’s like having to explain to the a server you don’t want cheese on your burger because you are on a diet.
Because cross contamination. If you are allergic to peanuts ask about the fry oil because it could be peanut oil. That's why you specify an allergy. Not "I don't want tomato's on my burger" even thought you allergic and they use the same cutting board for lettuce and tomatoes.

Again just saying do not put something is not enough.

So you're entitled to curse and be aggressive because of this? If you're black please tape yourself doing this at your local starbucks and let us know how it turns out.
Of course not. His behavior was terrible, and based on comments from Twitter of people who know of him, he has a history of being loud and outspoken at sporting events. However, I understand why he went off, and I probably would be mad if this situation happened to me, but I personally wouldn’t say anything racial. Considering the other servers confirmed that he did in fact request no peanut in his order he has a right to be mad (sans the racial stuff).

Even though he got fired from Merril,, I am sure he will be hired at a small insurance firm soon.

I think your comment is valid if you are dining at an establishment where cross contamination can occur, however I’m not sure how cross contamination can occur at a smoothie store unless the peanut is put directly with the other ingredients.

100% agree. I say this because a lot of the Latin countries essentially is what America will look like in the future. In the sense it will be rich vs poor, and then just black below each, although the rich and elite black folks might be looked at as rich; especially ones that forget their roots a la Neymar.
In Latin America its the pure blooded Natives who are most discrimated against.. Even more than Blacks..

That was my experience in Ecuador, Colombia and Bolivia

Peanuts are one of those things. They would literally need to swap out/clean utenstils, gloves, etc. I know someone whose throat started closing on the second floor of a house because a can of peanuts was opened on the first.

From what I read about Brazil its very similar. On the coasts and in Sao Paulo there's plenty of black people. But if you're from the jungles/Amazon, yeah they can't stand you.

You can't just disregard cross contamination because it's a smoothie store.

If there was an allergy then they might say "hey I JUST used that blender with peanut butter, use the other one." Make sure you get a fresh set of gloves, peanut could be lingering on the gloves. Use a different board to cut the fruit. Put the peanut butter away before you make the next smoothie and ten thousand other details.

You can't trivialize these things just because it's not a regular sit down restaurant. There's a reason health codes and procedures exist for eating establishments

You didn't answer the question.
You just gonna NOT tell someone about an allergy and think it's all gonna work out?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2022/01/24/merrill-lynch-advisor-fired-smoothie/

The workers meaning multiple meaning their story all lines up. Did they get together to get their stories straight? Maybe. But that seems pretty calculated for a few girls who were screaming and one was scared in the corner.
It's also very common for people to not tell othe people about their allergies. How do I know? I've worked in food service and people think their allergies are only important when they think it is.

Again. You care about your son and his well being you just gonna say no peanuts or you gonna tell them about an allergy?

And they could've escalated to slicing and dicing his big, middle-aged toddler looking ass with the many sharp knives, chopping and blending tools at their disposal or even going upside his skull with some of that expensive heavy equipment... See how that works?
lol. Maybe in a movie, but in real life, teenage girls have a habit of getting beaten/killed by men. So no, it wasn't a smart move to get into a back and forth argument with that dude who'd already shown unstable behavior. I hope they hit his bytch ass with an assault charge and civil suit.

The most racism I encountered was in NYC, California second. I rarely had issues with CACs in the south/Midwest. Not saying they weren’t racist but they were nowhere near as hostile as the aforementioned.
This...

I honestly can get better vibes from a redneck interacting on a one to one level than than a lot of "liberal" northen whites. The worst treatment and actual "you don't belong here" vibes I've gotten is when i visited the high end area in.a city up north. I won't name it because I don't want certain individuals to get mad.

Tbh, I've had my own theory that a lot of the stereotypes about Southern whites in modern times is upheld by northern whites who are use it as a way to maintain a sense of superiority over poorer whites in the south and use it to project a sense of of being more enlighten when in reality they are often as racist or more racist. I remember MLK said that his visit to either Boston or Chicago during their efforts to fight some integration attempts was more violent and worse than his visits in the deep south.

The idea that the north is somehow less racist or more tolerant is a lie.

To be fair, over the 2000's and 2010's we got way too used to seeing people in their 30's and beyond working in fast food. That shyt SHOULD be for teens outside of management positions. But to your point, and I actually somewhat agree, is that customers can't talk to people any ole way.

Yeah sure we (as a society) should have gotten used to grown ass 30+yr old adults being the majority of fast food workers, but that actually doesn't seem to have sunk in for most people. You can find evidence of this on this very site on any given day. Go to any thread about minimum wage, UBI, tipping culture, mandatory gratuity, etc and you'll find a ton of people acting like all that work is just unskilled labor done by inexperienced teenagers who live at home.
