Martin Luther King was not a Republican (or a Democrat, for that matter). We hold computers in our hands all day long, yet so many can't be bothered to verify easily discoverable facts.
Jackie Robinson was a registered Republican, but his relationship with the party was complicated, especially as they began to shift their strategy to one that was, well, largely racist. But if people want to claim an important Civil Rights figure as a Republican, Robinson would be their man, though he wouldn't have had anything to do with Trump or this bullshyt.
