I will say that Saturday Night Live deserves even more criticism than Kanye West for this though. SNL has a wider cultural reach (and always has) than Kanye West. Yet over the last 40+ years, at best they provide mediocre comedy with occasional shock moments. However, esp. over the last 2 years, they have entered into a very irresponsible pattern of giving their platform up to incredibly ignorant people with inflammatory positions (Trump, and now Kanye, twice).
