I couldn't stand the syntax, but learning how to do goroutines made me really be able to visualize and understand concurrency very well. Something I've always struggled with in C# and especially in Java which is just trash. Don't even ask me to work on a Java repo that's doing anything with concurrency/multi threading. Foh.
I wouldn't mind switching to GoLang permanently but I need more proof that it's gonna be around 10 years from now.
