I would imagine the channel will be re branded before he done.Channel low-key ain't what it was a decade ago so he got it on pennies on the dollar. He can easily change some shyt up and flip that quick or hold on to the value.

Robert Smith remarried. The both have white wives
factsThis is what a black man with real financal power looks like. Not some clown rapper with a hundred gold chains on.
It's too bad that in less than two generations it'll all be back in the hands of whites.
I ain't ask if you wanted to marry them did I?The both have white wives
People probably know him from that terrible Comics Unleashed show or that fugazi interview show where he takes interviews from press junkets and makes it looks like they're real interviewsByron Allen's story is amazing. Dude was a terrible comic, but due to sheer grind he made himself a media mogul. And he's doing it quietly with no media fanfare and promotion (can't have you nikkas getting any ideas).
I ain't ask if you wanted to marry them did I?
Look, the focus is wrong. We retell these stories on here to inspire us to reach for the same heights, not critique from behind a screen. How would the race of his wife make YOU rich??

Comedian and producer Byron Allen acquired the Weather Channel TV network as he looks to expand his film and TV production company into a major media business.
Allen’s Entertainment Studios Inc. bought the network from Blackstone Group, Bain Capital and Comcast Corp., according to a statement Thursday. The price was approximately $300 million, according to a person familiar with the terms who wasn’t authorized to speak publicly and asked not to be identified.
The deal includes the famous cable TV network, but not the online assets such as the website Weather.com and related mobile apps, which were acquired by International Business Machines Corp. in January 2016.
“The acquisition of The Weather Channel is strategic, as we begin our process of investing billions of dollars over the next five years to acquire some of the best media assets around the world,” Allen said in the statement.
Allen’s company produces and syndicates TV shows and has released films, such as last year’s thriller “47 Meters Down.”
The Comcast-Blackstone-Bain-led group had purchased the Weather Channel in 2008 for about $3.5 billion.
