He's not a bum. I was always one of Iggy's biggest supporters. But I much rather have a potential franchise center on his contract year than an expiring and some pick in the 20's. It's the quintessential low risk high reward move.

If he doesnt stay healthy once he comes back, we dont need to max the guy out, and can move in a different direction.
