I be gettin it in in my living room..

Upper and lower.. Deep squats ...Dead lifts.. Hip thrusts... And of course the usual upper body routine.. Then cardio after.. I rotate cardio.. Jog by the river or jump rope 15 minutes..

Concluded by a heavy bag "fight" for 20 mins

I'm afraid of messing up my knees , my endgame for squats is to get to 3 plates after that I'm just going for more reps:hubie:

I remember when I started out. Acquiring mastery of each additional plate became its own adventure and accomplishment.

I started with a 45# bar.
Hit 135#;:francis:. You's a bytch.
Hit 225#; :ohhh:. Better but still a hoe.
Hit 315#; :shaq:. Yo ass getting there (literally).
Hit 405#;:mjgrin:. That's what I thought bytch-ass nikka.
Hit 495#; :jawalrus:. Not signing autographs til 3.
(at like my 3 year mark)

And I don't wanna hear nothin bout no knees. :ufdup:
Nikkas can hoop, stomp the yard in Timbs, dance, B or C walk, and do all this other shyt til leg day comes 'round, then they on some :hubie: shyt.

I had chronic knee pain until I started squatting heavy. Now my knees skrong. :takedat:


PSA: Squatting doesn't mess up your knees; but exercising with improper form can.


Maybe its just me but I've never hit a number and just been like "kewl, let's stay here." I've always kept growing, always stayed learning, always stayed hungry.

It's all about how much you want it. I was sick of being scrawny asf so I kept grinding. My genetics (for lifting) are pretty bad.

At first it was about being jacked to get at more hoes and fill out clothes better. Then the gains started coming and became a pursuit of their own. Now I only chase numbers. Being bigger/stronger than maybe 90% of folks (and the benefits that come with that) is just icing on the cake.

To each his own though. I take shots at everyone (myself included) but respect everybody as long as they're taking care of themselves.

kudos to you on putting more weight on tho. I’m actually a pretty seasoned lifter so I know them numbers required a lot of effort on your part.

Due to life events, I didn’t have the time anymore to chase numbers without diminishing returns.

Once this all up tho, I might start back on the road to big numbers. It’s funny because before the quarantine, I was doing things to drop my one mile time, but now 225x30 front squat looking like it’s the move
