IDK... I was an 80's baby and by then rosedale/rochdale was BLACK ASF.... I think it was just economics and property values lowered when the white people left so badly they just gave up and black folks moved in... White people and others tend to have a vested interest when they move landlords and the banks inflate property values based on their demographics which is fukking racist.... but once white flight happens alot of times the surround areas values plummet...I mean that's how it's supposed to work tho.

Rosedale still have beautiful houses around the areas and it's quiet mostly too...

I don't know about that, I've worked in Valley Stream before and I hardly saw any white people. Full blown cac status doesn't happen until you go East of Freeport
