If a person needs a cosigner to get a car then don't sign for them. Generally there are only 2 type of people that need a cosigner: those with no credit and those with bad credit. Those with no credit can usually get a first time buyer program from banks and finance companies. They might not be able to get the fanciest car or house, but they can usually get a car or a house in most cases on their own.

Now if you are cosigning for a person with bad credit. All that I can say is :aicmon:

$1,300 a month for a car note..... :dead: .....

For a 100K Escalade means you're at 0% interest for 72 months.

Of course you deal with depreciation, but they make these vehicles for people that obviously can afford and buy them.

If 1300 is more than a fifth of your monthly after all other debts....you lost.

$69k for a hellcat :picard:

that's a new stingray, used r8/c63/lc500/rc-f/panamera turbo s, a dozen miatas, etc....

Ain't no way I'm spending $69k for used. And the cars you listed ain't nowhere near a Hellcat.

If I'm going used and want to beat a Hellcat I'm going BMW S58 or N63 minimum.
