He was good in stretches this year, but you wonder how much having Brandon Marshall (a top 5 wr in my eyes) and Deck(a really good #2) aided that.

You always knew he was gonna throw a couple picks, but boy did he shyt the bed when it was all on the line.

Rex Ryan buying chicken and smellin feet on Fitz tonight:francis:
Marshall and Decker been making ridiculous catches on terrible thrown passes all season long...

Marshall had one I specifically remember where he caught a horribly under thrown pass off his shoe strings, juked the safety and took it 70+ yards for a TD...

That's Fitzmagic for you, he has to get lucky...without luck you get what you got today and the majority of his career...An efficient intermediate passer that can't hit the broadside of a barn from 15+ yards...The amount of wide open receivers for TD's this guy missed this season (4 in the last 2 games alone) is mind blowing...

I dont see how you can be angry on the return on the investment though. He's limited...but we gave up practically nothing and for the most part he produced. 10 wins, good season...you guys wanting to fire and dump everyone after a 10 win year are crazy.

Saying I don't want to see him back in a starting role next season doesn't mean I'm angry or the trade didn't workout...

Yes Fitz was serviceable and that's the problem...Serviceable is all we've ever had at QB since Namath hence why we haven't been to a SB since SB3...

I would like to see a QB who can get the job done when it matters and a super bowl before my times up...

"serviceable" isn't going to get us there...

Yes so would I. Look at the league...if you dont have a top 7 guy you are looking for one.

I guess Geno's jaw didnt fully heal :mjpls:
Who was going to bench Fitz and the continuity he developed with the Jets receivers for a guy that had no preseason and missed the first 4 regular season games hurt?
