Yes, Geno has a stronger arm, goes through his progressions and can open up the sideline. We saw this happen in the Raiders game where Geno matched Fitz's production despite coming in cold with little practice on the first team. I witnessed BMarsh catch a deep ball in stride, and then I glanced Thompkins catch a laser to the sideline. Fitz can't make either throw well and that limits the offense.

Let's be reality, he gets that last TD and this thread doesn't exist. He pick a terrible time to fukk up but what are the jets other options?

Fitz was bailed out by BMarsh, screens, top 5 defense etc all year. He limits the offense, but has had the benefit of two great receivers, top 5 D and one of the easiest schedules in the league.

There are people who ride for Fitz because he's white. But all that aside, the question is whether Fitz should play for the Jets heretofore and whether he sucks. The answer to the first question is No, he shouldn't. The answer to the next question is yes, Fitz sucks.

Should Geno or some other QB play next season? Yes.

Could Geno have played better this season with great weapons, top 5 defense and one of the easiest schedules in the NFL? Yes.

He was playing must win games for 4 weeks.

He had 2 int in 6 games before today.

He pulled rabbits out of hats in the last 4 wins.

He's not a savior but the type of vitriol yall throwing at the nikka is crazy.

There are 3 angles to criticize Fitz and the Jets relying on him...

1 - They should develop Geno Camp - okay, but that means you can't be part of the crowd that thinks we shouldn't be wasting the years of our recent signings like Marshall. Why put superstar talent through throwaway years when going with the best bang for your buck would net us better results with a chance at the offs.

Also, let's be honest with ourselves now...can we honestly say now that Geno has the sustainable potential and tools that'll translate into a career qb that's better than Fitz? Honestly.

2 - Fitz is a perennial loser - Well... with the chemistry he developed with B. Marsh and passing well enough to give both Decker and B Marsh stupid good stats and breaking a franchise record...is that something any other BAD qb would have done?

Also, if you think Geno's better with the roster we have...why? What has he shown? Are we still looking at College ball casestudy like bum ass manziel fans who think because of college production, Johnny football is going to be a star? We have to be honest with ourselves.

3 - You feel sometype of way because you're thinking race is playing a role in the Fitz-Geno dynamic - Honestly, that argument can be had with the average fan in casual discussion but I'm going to be real and say I've yet to come across any journalism or tv/radio sports personalities that have said blatant shyt that means their trying to shyt on Geno and up-play Fitz at the expense of Geno.

Fitz has had knuckle head decisions but has played above his means at crucial times also. What's going on in the sports world regarding Cam...yea. But Fitz favoritism? I don't see it.

If Fitz had to "pull rabbits out of his hat" the past few weeks, it was because he didn't play well. If he didn't play well, that's on him. He shouldn't get any props for relying on his defense

Fitz is "serviceable" in the sense he's mediocre but mediocrity with a old QB never wins anything. Fitz literally has been bailed out by his scheme, weapons and defense the entire season. Throwing screens and one-read passes to Marshall and Decker isn't "magic"; it's Chan Gailey. But Gailey's fairy dust isn't enough to win against good teams which is why Fitz has lost to all the teams we have played with winning records except the Pats (who just lost to Miami).

All things considered, Fitz this season was given more support than most QBs in the league yet somehow has failed to lift his team to the playoffs. If Fitz can't will his team to the playoffs with a top 5 defense, great weapons and one of the weakest schedules in the league, he is not worth playing over Geno.

As far as Marshall goes, he is getting wasted with Fitz. I'd rather he be wasted with Petty or Geno because at least they have potential. Fitz is a waste of time and sure, maybe his race has played into it.

10 wins. One lose was because of a B. MARSHALL error. The other was when Fitz was injured...and Geno played.
