Rose had multiple seasons as the #1 player.... he had an MVP season as the #1 player........he's proved his worth as a #1 player.

Them dudes been pushing 40 since 2011. It's fact that Doc wanted to play in half court and concentrate on defense. To act like Rondo is solely the reason is reaching.

Certain players are cornerstone players. You do what you have to to get them. I could see some teams doing this to get Curry and Rose and even CP3 when he was balling. At no point in Rondo's career would i do that for him.
So a simple YES or NO would do: You overthrow Danny boy from the front office today and Rondo says he's 100% and he wants the max TODAY. Do you give it to him?

Damn it must hurt you that Rondo hurt his hand shortly before preseason. Was given and 6-8 week return date. Came back in 5 weeks for the first game of the season and beasted,
while Rose got hurt two games into the season.
