bus always does a good job of following up his wack releases with quality releases. after anarchy, he dropped genesis. after it aint safe no more, he dropped big bang. I admit anything wouldve been better than back on my bs but this album is dope overall. 8/10

This isn't even about Busta being on YMCMB really.

He could be on MMG. Good. G-Unit. Whatever. It's not about that.

It's about the fact that he's still trying to make modern day hits and changing his entire steez to do so. No man, you're in the latter stages of a legendary career, and you're trying to accommodate yourself to an audience who doesn't even know who you are, one of your verses on a Chris Brown song is bigger than you as an artist. Comply with your own hip hop audience.

the Dilla joints on Anarchy were dope but overall that album was considered a flop. Genesis was a lot more well received in the public, better reviews, and had mainstream hits.

Have you listened to the cd? It is very much a busta rhymes album. Loud boom bap beats and hard rhymes. This has always been busta's steez. What has changed?

im saying.. homie typed that long-winded comment, clearly without even hearing the album.. the albums solid.. sound like some old Busta.. thats the appeal to it..

on the same token, had he still been rhyming like his Native Tongue days- cats would still be complaining.. thats all the average hip-hop fan does nowadays.. complain.. about everything..
