This story is actually old as hell. I thought everybody knew it but some of the sh!t busta was saying didnt make sense. This happened in 94 n it was understood that it was a miscommunication back when it happened. Not due to him passing they didnt have their peace talk 2yrs later.

I wanna apoligize for trying to sneak that in there like nobody would notice
but sumbody had to stop the bleeding and give Busta some props,oh I went too far?I don't have real numbers to back it up but around the time he released that song with Janet Jackon "make ya body wet"? Dude wuz everywhere and gettin nominated for awards,doin a lot of performances...dude wuz really out there....perception wise to people not really following the game and actual sales you could say he wuz the biggest artist in the game...Matter fact I take my apology back and I'm stickin with my statement
....nikkas run around sayin Ross the biggest and hottest rapper in the game off visibility and perception without the sales to match it....Busta for whatever reason is in the Fat Joe lane where they make monster hits and are visible but don't get the sales.

I checked the dates and from what I could tell Jay had already dropped all his shyt from Vol2 by the time Busta started gainin steam,they wuznt in direct competetion....Dude had a lot of attention from that Gimmee some More video,then shot the 2million dollar video with Janet...and I Also just seen that Gimme Some More single wise sold as much as Can I Get A by Jay-Z...and the song with Janet sold as much as Hardknock Life by Jay with the single....that video with Janet got a lot of attention too,2million dollar budget and he wuznt arguably the biggest
keep in mind I did say arguably.Just take away the facts for a second,and try to think back to what you was seeing around that time....Busta wuz all over the place,grammy nominations,performing everywhere....keep in mind I said arguably....I think a Busta stan could arguably make a case...I don't know any Busta stans so I don't see that happening
