Man I swear this shyt reminded me of Mickey Rourke in the Wrestler, it's so synonymous with the plotline of Rodney the Ram jumping off the top rope and Busta falling off stage and busting his ass...the dualities :wow:

Busta fell off that so y'all didn't have to fall through that:to:

I Hope dudes okay.. Yall mock and laugh at anything.. :snoop:

Dude is a legend...

yeah but he destroying his legacy...

he actually is more buffoonish now than he was wearing those colorful outfits and screaming all over the place

I'd expected him to boss up by now and become an exec....instead of doing uninvited guest features on every b list rapper song

and that deal he had with cash money was a BAD look :snoop:

he really going out like a busta

If we are gonna start judging legendary emcees on how they became successful executives in their middle ages then that list is gonna be really short..

Jay-Z, Dre, MasterP and Ice Cube are the exceptions and not the rule... And Busta can still out rap all of them RIGHT NOW... If actual rap is something you have an interest in..

Cool..

I'm just a rap fan though I suppose.. Which is probably why I've been bumping heads with posters that like watching other n1ggas pockets or chart positions for almost a decade now...

And I applaud you for that...... :salute:

not being sarcastic breh :whoa:

cause I have and always will be a diehard B-BOY and Fan of the CULTURE....

and ANYBODY FAMILIAR with my threads know damn well that I AM A SINCERE HIP HOP HEAD

but when you get involved with an aspect of this industry that exposes you to contract negotiations, issues over intellectual property and marketing as I have been

it's like opening a PANDORA'S BOX ................and I ain't NEVER BEEN THE SAME :to:

just like today.....im suppose to be enjoying my fukking birthday.....I just wanna sit back at the crib on this sunday morning sipping liquor and watching a NFL game

but now i just got informed early this morning ..I got a fukking meeting with a guy going over managerial contracts and countless other documents cause this guy to CHEAP to get a Lawyer...

and this is dealing with a HIP HOP DEEJAY......... :snoop:

so my PERSPECTIVE of the culture has to align COMMERCE with ART.....

but hey ..I signed up for this :manny: I'm getting compensated for this

so I take the good with the bad... ....but I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY....and I do HIGHLY RESPECT BUSTA RHYMES...that's why I said what I said....

I just know the INDUSTRY has left a bitter taste in his mouth, just like it has done me...particularly for BUSTA as a Black Hip Hop artist whose peak was in the 90's

you got to understand it's the POLITICS OF THE INDUSTRY that created the BUSTA RHYMES that you so admire....

going back to his issues with group the L.O.N.S ...then down the line to his fukked up situation as a solo artist with Elecktra Records and that she-devil Sylvia Rhone

along with the transformations and adaptations he felt he had to make during his transition to Interscope , while dealing with all the madness at Violator ....his management company....

so for me PERSONALLY it's DEEPER THAN JUST RAP......and you might not agree....but you gotta at least RESPECT THAT

I see Busta out almost every time out with his Lil Wayne looking producer and his problem is he drinks way too much like he is 28 not in his mid 40's and out of shape. OT Is his artist and I know he trying to get his artist some shine but he could let his people help him and get some rest and get on a proper diet and cut out drinking Hen straight. He is in love with the spotlight and still has some hits in him but he need to stop hanging with his crew. If you live in NYC and got some dough or good looking, you see him at every hot spot. He needs to stay home some nights and focus on his artist and his own career.
