Might be the Cuban Link II effect, ELE2 was years in the making, I agree it's an excellent album and one of my favorites of the last years.

Man Bustas voice is cooked. There isn't one song I kept off this EP. He needs to go back in the lab and take his time like he did with ELE2.

I listened to one song and his voice sounded so strained and forced as if he had 4 hammocks stuck in his throat. Does he sound like that for every track? If so, that’s one of the easiest skips I can make.

Its crazy because years ago when he lost the weight the first time he was on combat jack talking about how his heavy drinking fukked up his voice and he stopped drinking because of that. That's how we got the look at me now verse and fast forward years later dude is drinking everything and puffing on cubans trying to sound like a 25yr old drill rapper from brooklyn.
