though nowadays I couldn't picture someone craftin a classic album with that low level of lyricism. it wuld be flooded with bad production, hooks and overall cornyness.

For Y'all Info there's like 10-15 "classics" that aren't illmatic with the lyrics.

the production defo prevails but NORE the transitional artist kinda took me out, i was in love with the war report noreaga; he was the one out of the cnn/trag that stood out!!! Voice tone/flow alone..shyt man, whatever was going on they need to bring that back..yeahhhh right!!

Duh! NORE was my nikka. I just moved to DC the summer this dropped (98 if I'm not mistaken) bout to start HS nikkas thought I was crazy...they HATED NORE here, me? I'm bumping Superthug like a true G. They didn't understand Noreaga lol


But I guess I was a bit biased cuz I was on NY rap hard (I mean I'm a Jersey native lol) and I had NORE, The War Report, and was dying for that Reunion cd lol.

N.O.R.E was a classic, bought the Neptunes to light in a major way...introduced me to the word "head", and I thought the skits were dope. Almost every song went. Body in the Trunk, Banned From TV, I Love My Life...so many! With damn good production too!
