I got most of them in Japan while working there
now they are releasing a new version of Prime. This will be version 3:primefacepalm:

While I did hate the designs of most of the newer Transformers...OK all of them....I don't think that making them look like the cartoons is great either. Of course, this is supposed to be a prequel, so in that I understand but other than nostalgia factor, I'd say ehhh. I also think the CGI looks worse than Bay films.

I'm up in the air if I'll see this. First was cool, 2 was trash, 3 was good, 4 was trash. 5 should've been good but it was ehhhh...perhaps this will be good.

This series died after #3 for me. I can only invest in trilogies at most for these types of films.

Need that 3rd GI Joe tho, that series had so much potential in the beginning ...

Part 5 had some dope action sequences. Part 4 left a bad taste in peoples mouth, 5 usuallly gets automatic from everyone.

nah, I checked out at Beast Wars, came back a little for Beast Machines
I couldn't take that early 90s CGI with BW
You reminded me, I still have to get Sunstreaker, they were charging alot more for him vs. the rest of the cars due to that Countach license

Honestly if it wasn't for the Bay films connection they would have made Bee look more traditional. I felt like they had to have his face retain the same style as those films for the mainstream audience.

That's not Starscream. That's Angela Bassett's character Shatter.

In general though, this movie is a fukk you to Michael Bay, but Bay is still a producer, so some elements remained. Probably for the same reason as when he said why he came back to do the fourth movie after he said he was done. He didn't want anyone else coming in and doing something better. I just can't see how they can go from this, to what we got in the Bay movies. Especially since we've seen Soundwave and Shockwave in the movies. They can't say that those were protoforms because Soundwave chose an alt-mode.

The previous movies didn’t give a shyt about continuity so why start now?
