Rose is better off outta here, as much as it hurts. I dont think he fukked with this team anymore and it sounds like all signs were pointing to him not wanting to be back in 2017, and the front office not wanting him back

Its just sad ... he belonged in Chicago man. He meant alot to this city, and this is just a sad way for it to go

but honestly, its better than him walking from the team and choosing someone else over us in FA next summer. That shyt would have been even worse

I think this shyt is gonna work out lovely, and they resign him, and it allows them to bring in another max player in summer 2017 cause they will have the capspace

They might not be great this season, but the Bulls could have helped potentially create another monster out East if Derrick stays healthy and they can land another max player next summer

and at this point i can easily pull 8 teams clearly better than us, cleveland, toronto (although we might still go 4-0 vs them, they will still be top 3 in the east) ny, indy, detroit, boston, miami and charlotte. not to mention if atl can keep horford, they will still be better too. so missing the offs again is a good shot.

then no free agent is coming here. so we holding jimmy for what exactly? as we fighting to get into the offs we continue landing right outside the offs and with 12-14th picks which are not franchise changing?

i still think the best way to go was to see what you can add to rose and jimmy. no other stars are available.

if rose done here, then let him decide to walk, and we clear up the space after he done balled out and got us a good playoff showing.

if jimmy cant do that, we are screwed for at least the duration of jimmy contract.

Man the more I think about it, the bulls should have moved Butler to the wolves for lavine, dieng and the #5. That is how u rebuild quickly. Then move rose by the deadline if possible. This move doesn't make the bulls bad enough where they will secure another high draft pick. It really doesn't do shyt to be honest.

It gives them a solid, relatively inexpensive center solution and I guess they think Grant can be a starting PG down the line

If Rose gets hurt next season and Grant shows flashes of being a player, then suddenly the Bulls fleeced the Knicks

Sounds like they have done their homework on Grant and really like him

I just seen one of my teams rebuild and it looks like it's finally about to start paying off, I don't see the same for us I have 0 trust in the front office Garpax has been terrible in addressing the simplest of needs since the run in 2011. These 2 have went the cheap route to often
