so after all the failures of adding quality support to rose, then eventually rose and jimmy, and after a total failure of going from a proven nba coach who produced to hiring mr rogers to coach the team, you dig the hole even deeper by trading rose for pretty much scraps and make us the 1 star 1 trick pony team once again, needing to add someone to help jimmy, except since the entire league can clearly see this franchise is terrible nobody is coming here. smh

im still a bit in shock.

ill say this tho, im going to having rants of epic proportions if we are losing badly next season.

and out of this entire mess, the front office gets to keep their jobs, and thibs rose and soon noah will be gone as if this was their fault. smh

Robin Lopez is a solid player that fills a huge need (interior defense) and I expect Grant to be at least a serviceable player.

I like the trade. Rose was gone anyway, no sense in wasting another season with him. This also means that Gasol and Noah are almost certainly gone, moving the rebuilding process along even further.

Maybe most importantly, assuming we're keeping Butler, it frees up the backcourt for him to be the guy. He and Rose had no business playing together given their styles.
