You don't get it...look at it like this...take like walking dead conventions or any niche hardcore fanbase that travels you can pick it, star trek, pokemon, comic books etc...if they come to your town it might draw a few hundred people but if they do a super convention all those same exact people in the little towns will travel and sell out an arena....they can do that maybe one or twice a year but you will eventually exhaust the hardcore wallet....so doing it once or annually is no big deal....the ecw fans in the 90s were literally the same crowds traveling with the show....this is no different in fact less impressive than what ecw did without tv or internet like it is today

The only people watching play fighting regularly in 2018 are the marks, so obviously that midget was going to be a top seller amongst his mark audience. But there are still a few lingering casuals around (most casuals like myself stopped watching after GOATsso left) that come and go which is why Roman, who is an actual star, remains the top merch seller.

If you're not a top 10 guy in the E youre pretty much wasting your career and life away there and I'm sure they all know if they come in they gonna get eaten up and lost in the machine within 6 months. 10 months in being there, will be doing 3 min matches on tv, barely making pre shows of PPVs, and mainly seen in backstage skits where wrestlers attack other wrestlers and some guys need to pull them apart or ME brawls where the GM as them to come to the ring to stop the fights

Why would give up what you got going on now to be subjugated to that?
