:gucci: Skip Bayless is just one man. On FS1 alone you got 4 LeBron dikkriders with major shows (Nick Wright, Cris Carter, Shannon Sharpe, and Colin Cowherd).

For every allegedly negative Bron story there's always 4-5 that are making excuses for him. Act like Nick Wright's show isn't a LeBron stan propaganda production.
I don’t watch the show or any of them. All I know is based off the clips y’all post that Skip, Will Cain, and Whitlock spend more time trashing LeBron than talking about any other single athlete. Saying the team around him is fukking wack isn’t an excuse if it’s the truth, dawg. fukk is wrong with you?

There are far more LeBron stans in the media than guys like Skip or Whitlock. Almost every show has media heads making excuses for him.

He’s one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Most of these media heads would put him top 3 if they were asked.

Of course there are Bron stans in the media. HES ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. You don’t get that because of a chemical imbalance or some shyt. When you are GREAT, people gravitate towards you. People tend to overlook your mistakes when you are GREAT. If you looked in the fukking mirror you could probably see that you do the same thing to....certain athletes. That’s it.

100 on all the above quoted posters ..

Griff is probably right about everything except that LeBron gets none if the blame, anybody who says that is obviously trying to spin a narrative. There's no way you can tout that as true unless you're trying to shape a narrative...

I do think Bron's move to LA didn't prioritize winning, but the last two years Bron spent in Cleveland, you can't see a guy still fight for a spot in The Finals and say winning isn't important to him...

But the move to LA, winning clearly wasn't priority #1...

Also, this has to be said, Griff was a brand new GM when Bron came home, had been on the job for like 5 months. Now, I'll say that I believe Griff is very much a competent GM, and I think he's looking really good with the Pels right now, but he gotta prove he can win without LeBron, not the other way around, so in that sense, his ass is overrated. He got to three Finals in a row with Bron and got a championship, time to show he can do it without one of the best players ever...

His remarks aren't gonna age well if we look back in 7 years and the only time he even made a conference final was with LeBron James, let alone a chip...

You realize Griffin was President of Operations for the Suns when they went to multiple conference finals in some of the most stacked Western conferences ever right? You also realize he turned down multiple offers and interviews for GM positions from teams like the Bucks in in 2000s and the Lakers this year specifically to wait for those opportunities with Cleveland back then and NOLA now, right? Of course you don't, cause you didn't read shyt in the article, don't know shyt, and are talking nonsensical shyt straight out of your ass while proving Griff's spot on point that when it comes to Bron and the toxic culture his presence creates, every accomplishment and achievement is his alone, every past accomplishment and accolade of any other teammate/coach/front office is irrelevant or meaningless, and every bit of blame in any failure falls squarely on their shoulders while he gets off scot-free... :camby:

And as far as winning without good players, I think it's time for Bron, the apparent best player ever, to show he can at least make the damn playoffs in the West for once, when "Overrated" ass David Griffin was running infinitely inferior teams and players to multiple conference finals in even tougher/more stacked conferences. But that's neither here nor there to you I guess huh buddy? :mjgrincryin:

Kobe didn't have stans in the media like that and he's top 2 all-time. The media almost unanimously hated Kobe.

You can't use greatness as the reason LeBron has gotten favoritism from the media. Its also got to do with his personality which is more appealing to the largely white media.

Being a passive aggressive diva is safer to white people than being a straight killa like Kobe.

This is some weird-ass caping.

Griff wasn't the President of Basketball Operations for the Suns, Steve Kerr was. Griffin was the Vice President.

Griff didn't become the VP of Basketball Operations with the Suns until after the 2007 season. So most of their success was already in the rear-view mirror and the team was already together at that point.

After Griffin became VP of basketball operations, Suns only won two playoff series total....ever again.

These were the moves they made:

Drafted Rudy Fernandez, Alondo Tucker, and DJ Strawberry.
Sent Fernandez away for cash.
Traded away James Jones for cash.
Traded away Kurt Thomas for a 2nd-round pick.
Traded away Shawn Marion for old Shaq.
Signed old Grant Hill.

Lost in the 1st round

Let Mike D'Antoni walk and signed Terry Porter as head coach
Drafted Robin Lopez and Malik Hairston, then traded Hairston and a 2nd-round pick for Goran Dragic.
Signed Matt Barnes.
Signed Louis Amundson.
Traded away Raja Bell and Boris Diaw for Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley
Fired Terry Porter and made Alvin Gentry the head coach

Missed the playoffs for the first time since Nash joined the team

Drafted Earl Clark, Taylor Griffin, and Emir Preldžič.
Traded away old Shaq for old Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, and a 2nd-round pick
Signed Channing Frye.

Made the WCF then got swept by the Lakers.

Team hasn't made the playoffs since.

That's the shyt you were big-upping. Suns were already a good team by the time Griffin became VP of Basketball Operations, they pretty much only got worse after that. There were a couple good moves in there (getting rid of Porter early, drafting Lopez, trading for Dragic) but the bad ones were worse, and the team went downhill.

Maybe you can say that's not Griffin's fault cause he was only VP, not President of Basketball Operations or GM. But I don't know what the hell you're giving him credit for. And I actually like Griff.

Lmao this was a funny ass write up...

What has Griff actually won without LeBron James? What's his actual track record, not the made up one you're giving him, but his actual record?

Again, his remarks will not age well if the Pels aren't running The League in 3-4 years. You can put your pom-poms away now...

Heaven on Earth
This is some sucker sh*t

Lebron has never said a negative word about this dude

Griffin overrated btw

He gets credit for looking smart compared to the average dumb gm
He’s not even the Pelicans GM. Trajan Langdon has been quietly doing all the work, while Griffin is all in the spotlight and media acting like he’s the new Jerry West.
