Diggs was nonexistent from mid season till the end
You guys always downplay the WR1 ability to draw safeties so these other receivers can eat. Diggs kept the chains moving and the offense on the field. He also took a lot of heat for Josh Allen terrible choices. It’s going to be interesting to see that team without him
Salary gurus how much of a cap hit is Buffalo taking in this trade?
Biggest cap hit for a non-QB in NFL history, $31M

I guess he's trying to show support for current guys on the roster?
You could still tell he was done with him though
"When you lose a player of Diggs caliber, there's always going to be an adjustment. That being said I'm excited about the talent we have on offense and I expect some of our young guys to really step up." is a pretty easy and generic statement to make. What is he supposed to say? You come out and say "Yeah we are really gonna miss him. " how does that help the team? Beyond that dude bytched for years and they had their own drama. There is 0 reason for him to say that.

Now if he doesn't fukk with him then I don't have a problem with what he said. But I also don't want him crying about how he was taken out of context.
