I think his ceiling is Michael Jordan and at worst he'll be a Magic Johnson type player.

You don't lose with a player like him on your roster. This cat is everything a fan shoukd like. Hard worker. Started from the bottom. Plays hard and is a joy to watch.

I compared Buddy to JJ Roddikk few months ago here. But after his performance in the tournament, I had to raise the bar. This dude got a lot of heart and can flat out play. I'd wait until the combine measurement to be clear though. He could be as good as healthy Eric Gordon/Bradley Beal if he was really 6'4.

I think he's better offensively than when Klay came out.

Imo, his low side is Kevin martin meets Courtney lee.
His high side is harden being made a third wheel till he breaks out later on.

Imo, he is ready to contribute as a main scorer if given the green light.
He has the experience and pedigree to ramp as soon as he suits up.

Only guy in the draft that I think will make an immediate impact on his team. The kid can shoot from anywhere! If he somehow goes to Boston, Minnesota or even the Lakers, he'll make his presence known.

What happens magically between 19-22 that makes it so that you can't learn to bounce a ball into the floor? Dudes talk like you can better your handles. shyts not hard to do. It bewilders me how Simmons is going to magically gain depth perception, but buddy can't improve hand eye coordination. One is drastically harder to do than the other, but 3 years makes it plausible?

Man he was never gonna be that guy,he was a beast in college,but had many weaknesses

most of the people who were hyping up buddy hield last year were just hating on boogie cousins tryinna make the trade deal seem good to the kings when they got basically fleeced.
