Awesome Wells
The Ghost of Jack Tripper
Both are my guys, but Buck has always been the much better producer. We also have the same barber, lol.
People have to understand that during the early to mid 90's, he was on the kind of run that's usually only reserved for the greats. shyt for Organized Konfusion, Artifacts, Big L, Diamond, O.C., AZ, G Rap, Mic Geronimo, Mad Skillz, Sadat, Brand Nubian, B.I.G., Hov, Black Sheep, etc. And this was all before '98. Dude was cooking up remixes for people too, that were much better than the OG versions. He's never been one for the spotlight, but everyone knows his beats. Finesse is my people, but he doesn't have anything in the stash that's fukking with "Whoa", "Time's Up", or 'I Got A Story To Tell". Even on his own album, the best track Finesse had on there was produced by someone else.
He's one of the GOAT's, but Finesse doesn't have the catalog behind the boards, to touch Buck.
