Melo took a dead in the water denver franchise, and revitalized it to a perennial 50+ win a year franchise in the ultra competitive Western conference. And I dont remember him playing with a dynamic talent like Russy Westbrook, let alone a player like Harden on the squad as the third option (they've never been the same since he left). Best Melo played with was an aging Chauncy Billips, in addition to taking the knicks to a 54 win season with J.R Smith as the next best option.

And if you havent noticed, Durant and Melo got the same number of rings.
