Whats crazy to me is how dudes still cape for him. Dude is an industry plant. Dude made zero noise in the underground circles and his comeup never was organic. He just came out of nowhere with a major label push and did numbers. He forgot that listeners have a short attention span so when his year was up, he had no solid fanbase to fallback on.
Does he even have a list of mixtapes people can point to that made noise and are the reason for his comeup?
The fact that this thread alone has this little replies already speaks volume. Even less relevant artist albums get more thread activity on thecoli.

Exactly.
The label forced dude on everyone. And people felt like they were supposed to listen to him because they heard other people were. Dude was everywhere, at one point. But you can't sustain that momentum if you don’t have the talent to compete with these other artists out here. The labels know that they won't be able to eat off acts like Tiller for long, so they start reloading so that they can drop off another plant soon. So when those metrics say that Tiller has lost steam, they'll have another dude out that'll pop up out of nowhere. That's how it goes.

I've never had much attachment to Bryson. I wasn't a fan, I liked him and TrapSoul but I never put it on that pedestal like that.
probably why I was able to be pretty objective on his second album too. were I never had drastic its' good/bad feeling towards it.
Bryson feels like he's someone that if the life is great outside of music it will hamper his output.
I like this new one though.
there's a stretch of songs I think it was around track four to the Drake song were the album hit its stride.
honestly, I'm looking forward to when Roc C drops the chopped and screwed version of it. it will improve the album.
