I was wrong and wrote him off too early. Part of me was still skeptical even as he got the job back but I'm fully on board - he can absolutely be a franchise level QB.
So that avi getting changed

Better late then neverIt really took Bryce Young two whole seasons to win his first road game!
i still got zero hope lmao
to go from flyover state/bye week surprise to legitimate starter is a hell of a hill to climb. every team gotta not take him serious *and* everything gotta go right. but its not like there's any QBs to draft this year anyways
the biggest improvement he made was not taking negative plays for the fukk of it like it was everyone else's problem. but im not gonna be one of the fans who acts like we were playing locked in and focused eagles and chiefs teams either.I was right there with you breh for the longest. You do gotta admit just from watching the games he's making plays / throws / drives we haven't seen in forever. Biggest issue for me was him being short and having to overcompensate for that + not completing a pass more than 10-20 yards in the air. If his size isn't gonna be a problem for him anymore he's got plus level skills that got him drafted 1st overall.
And he was showing those signs in the losses against the good teams we've played so it's not even just looking good against the bum ass teams that we actually beat.

best way to evaluate a QB is to see how defenses treat them and the story for bryce has been teams moving from "free eats " to stubborn indifference/letsshootitoutfukkitlol like what we saw to end the year. he's done well doing what he's never done before - hit the open man down the field. he didn't even attempt it the majority of his nfl career. today in particular there were no defenders around guys and he kept hitting guys.
he's not throwing guys open or dissecting schemes. he's taken advantage of blown coverages - which is still way better than slinging jumpshots like before
but the minute you start talking ball placement, time management, looking guys off, etc? its not high level. we don't even talk about that with bryce.
