What the hell do you see in Benedict Cumberbatch that makes you think "Lex Luthor"? Because he played the villain in "Star Trek"? Because he looks kind of like Michael Rosenbaum?
And for the record I don't think Cranston should (or would) play Lex Luthor just because he's coming off playing a bald villain already. His next movie is "Godzilla" which is purposely different from something like "Breaking Bad". But some of you don't seem to understand, Lex Luthor existed before the TV show, and he was a wide range of ages before "Smallville" ever existed.

Cumberbatch played a God damn Desi villain in Star Trek. If people's problem with Cranston playing Lex is his age, they'll get over it. He can pull off a role like that, and that's all that matters. Miss me with that dumbass Brit, he can shyt in a bucket and die, I really think he's terrible as an actor and smug as shyt.

Why not? So your going to sit there and say with a straight face like he couldn't pull it off? I know the history of the character and I'm amazed that you wouldn't want a luthor who is almost the same age as superman....and no I didn't say Cumberbatch because of any resemblance to rosenbaum whom I could really care less about anyway....they could do luthor as John Bourne did him in the man of steel limited series from the 80s: a red haired business man with no morals who tries to get superman on his payroll...then swears to destroy him when he can't....
So you really think the guy who plays Sherlock Holmes can't play cold calculating Lex Luthor? .....oh aight
