White (Non-Hispanic) is what's on the census (they even put the type of people they're talking about in parenthesis)
Latinos have NEVER been considered white in this country and NEVER will. Them checking off White like they actually are have been talked about in articles over the past two decades and those articles weren't in the fashion. They read like Latinos were being deceptive. Arabs don't have those problems because Northern Africans and Middle Easterners are actually labeled as being White in the census.
