Its not even his constant hating, I think its his voice that really annoys me and the fact that his 60+ year old ass still talks so tough like he would actually pull up in someone tested him or can whoop anyones ass. Maybe he would be more tolerable if he showed some type of humility at this point in his career.

fukking facts, breh. The "my era of wrestling is the best ever, and nothing else is remotely as good" shtick is funny maybe the first couple of times you hear it. Then, it's annoying. Then it gets sad when you realize that basically running this same "things were better the way they were before" gimmick for an audience largely comprised of people who think plenty of other things were better the old way (
) is all he has.

Cornette can tell a good story with some funny antidotes and that's all that he's got going for him. I still stand by what I've said about him in the past.
I was waning on Cornette's act years ago when Russo and him were threatening and insulting each other over working on the WWF booking committee which was over 20+ years ago. These are men in their 50's, mind you. He's been kind of spiraling downhill.
For years he bragged about slapping Santino, but when was confronted about it, he yelled for the nearest camera he could find. He stopped talking to Brian Zane over some dumb shyt that girls get mad about. And then there's this colorful quote: " [Trevor Murdoch] is the only man I've ever known that can strap a bucket of fried chicken on his back and ride a motor scooter across Ethiopia."
I can't wait to see how his bootlickers try to come to his defense this time. fukk Jim Cornette and motherfukk Vince Russo too.
In this situation, I have to side with Russo () of all people. Russo should be shook, because Cornette is a legit nut, who in the past has admitted to leaving threatening voicemails for Russo and even once implied what he might do if he comes down with terminal cancer. The guy is famously non religious so he'd have nothing to lose. There have also been incidents in the past involving Cornette that could be cause for concern.
Ever heard of KC O'Connor? He used to work for Cornette back in SMW. He quit because he thought Cornette owed him money. He refused to return a camera until Cornette paid him. Cornette went to his house, pulled out a baseball bat and told him if he didn't come out with the camera he would smash his car. KC refused, and Cornette proceeded to smash his car from bumper to bumper. Cornette fled the scene (he actually left the state to avoid state police). He spent the night in a hotel, called his lawyer, and turned himself in the next day.
Ever heard of Terry Landell? Cornette talked about getting into a dispute with him in Knoxville, TN on his podcast, and admitted that he wanted and even attempted to run him over with a car. His then wife was also in the car with him. He once again fled the scene, called his lawyer, and turned himself in a few months later.
There was another story he told about a former SMW employee who was so scared of him she had her husband (a cop) go with her to work because she was afraid of the threats he made (he never showed up at her work).
The point is: He's nuttier than a fruit cake. I know he's got a fanbase who loves him because he can tell a good story, and come up with an interesting way to say a curse word, but the guy is a legit psycho when he loses his temper. It must drive him nuts that Russo, in some form or another, was apart of one of the most successful periods in wrestling history.
I think this whole thing is silly and childish nearly 20 years after the fact, but like I said, fukkery.

Yeah Bruce has just stopped caring. You can tell he barely knows what they're gonna talk about until he's on the call
He just doesn't care or have time anymore. Conrad literally woke him up with the call for them to record. He's not even awake for the first 30 mins.
Podcast still gave us hundreds of hours of free gold though. So I'll continue to check in if I'm interested in that weeks subject.

I FINALLY listened to the STWW on Nash's '93-early '95 and man did they botch the booking of Diesel's WWF World run. If they just let Nash be himself, they could've had something but humble, man of the people babyface is not a role suited for our guy. A more tweener role would've been more appropriate where Nash would compete fair and square, but he wouldn't be above using some fukkery to retain the title if need be.
used to listen every week. i randomly listened to one episode yesterday, and they openly admitted they're only still doing the podcast to fulfill contracts. they know the shyt is trash now, and anything worth listening to is in the archives. the only Conrad podcast still worth listening to is WHW
i'll try and find the timestamp when i have a minute. they just laughed it off
yeah i was gonna say JR as well, but they're starting to get into the weeds with that one too. or maybe lately it's just been certain years i don't care about. the cornette one from last week was solid though

I mean. Why not. They're getting paid to sit around and bullshyt, especially now that half the show is ads. Bruce clearly doesn't even prepare anymore, just goes off the cuff and says whatever. But I don't know who's gonna listen to shyt like 2 and a half hours on the Honky Tonk Man, which is what the preceeding episode was.
They said it on this last week's podcast. They jokingly were saying why are we still doing this and Conrad brought up how they had advertising contracts they needed to fulfill. It was said in jest, but you know it was for real. This past week's episode wasn't as bad as the other recent ones.
