I hope Conrad change his mind about doing a Honkey Tonk episode

:scust:

:yeshrug: I know HTM ain't for everybody, nowhere near one of my favorites ever, but I would like to hear about his run as IC champ and the aftermath of that. From what I've seen, he was never supposed to hold it for that long, but he was generating mega heat and his program w/ Savage was a hot draw so they kept it on him, and he was such a prick while he was champ that he had to pay for that once he dropped it. He was a surprise breakout star during that era. I hope that ain't one of them 3-4 hour episodes, but I'm down to hear about how his run played out.

Shirts are parodies, so they get by on that.

Not sure about music, but as mentioned already, probably because they aren't selling the podcast.

Yeah as others have said the shirts are basically parodies of logos and they utilize slight alterations to get around copyright laws.

As for the music there is law that allows for popular music to played during radio broadcast because it acts as a promotional tool for the artist. If you listen to radio that law/rule is the reason why instrumentals or songs are used during promos and talking segments. I would guess podcast would fall under radio and it would still be considered promotional.

Sick Boy....this match is awful, bruce wasnt lying

I haven't listened to this episode yet, but I clearly remember Sickboy was the Internet darling in the late 90's/early-2000's. I never understood the hype because he was a straight up PowerPlant scrub that got paired with Raven in WCW to fill out The Flock. Listening to Raven shoot interviews, Raven always spoke highly of him too. Looking back now, I still don't get the hype/potential talent behind Sickboy. Dude was a straight up bum.

Truly blessed to say I went to some of the better PPV's of my childhood. Summerslam 02 (and the Raw after at MSG), Survivor Series 02, One Night Stand 06 and Royal Rumble 08. WWE needs to restore the feeling and bring back MSG PPVs, dammit. PAY THE BILL, VINNY.

Also, new Lapsed Fan pods. :ohhh: We eating.

EDIT: I need to get to Maina :mjcry:
