At one point when they're talking about, i think, the lead up to the iron man match, bruce says the plan was always for this to be the start of a series of matches and a long rivaly.

Then when they're talking about Shawn and Bret talking on a plane ride home, they mention Bret saying he thought this was going to be a trilogy and Bruce says that was all just in Bret's head

To be fair to Bruce, i think he kinda clarifies what i was talking about there. When they're talking about the contract with Bret and Bruce says he can see Vince talking in "broad strokes" when discussing future plans.

But yeah overall you can tell he doesnt like Bret and is putting a negative spin on everything.
