Basically preventing him from working with any other companies other than Berry Gordy's production company... And Berry Gordy didn't make any more movies...

No he's doing the same thing Kevin Hart did when TLAM2 came out, and that's beg cacs to go see the movie. The Nutty Professor is different because Eddie is a crossover star, no one in TLD was a crossover star and it was clearly a movie made for black folks.
