Last ep was definitely a budget saving filler ep, was written kinda shaky (like most of the show) but somehow I still enjoyed it.

This show has an underdog vibe and I find myself rooting for it. Glad it got a 2nd season.

I prefer this to 'Into The Badlands'. ITB was cool to me, but it always struck me that the cast felt like mostly stuntpeople who act, rather than actors who trained to do their own stunts.

I feel like this is basically a collection of character actors, some of whom have to learn stuntwork, and the rest who can just chill and move the story along.

Good on Cinemax for renewing it. If they'd killed both this and Quarry after one season

If we're supposed to sympathize I'm having a hard time. I've always hated degenerate gamblers in any media. It's foul Jack got bodied over that mess and he even tried to telling dude to cash out. fukk Bill.

I fukk with this show but the bill stuff is kind of annoying. I dont feel sorry for this cac one bit but he's steady getting 20+ minutes with his arc. Mufukka need to hurry up and die or his wife need to leave him or something. It doesnt feel like his story means anything either. I like his partner way more and he's actually interesting. Plus next week his secrets finally coming out.
