Him bringing in Norv is a good but puzzling move. Chud's claim to fame, so to speak, is the fact that he's and X and Os kinda guy. With Norv there, what exactly is Chud's role? I've never heard of him being a great leader or manager, but maybe he's just never had the chance to show it.

So that means they didn't hire Mike Zimmer

:wtf: weedon is going to be a spead offense qb now? :smh: browns are still shyt

Norv isn't going to run the spread. His offensive system suits weeden perfectly. I don't think yall realize how many close games we lost this year:ld: with another high pick, plenty of cap space, young experienced players, we could make some noise if we stay healthy.

:dwillhuh:

One mintue I think Chip Kelly is coming here... :krs:

Now I gotta Wikipedia Rob Chudzinski to figure out who the hell he is :snoop:

Getting Norv is a good move I guess but he getting old and his offense in San Diego for the last 3 years isn't anything that gets me excited.

I'm honestly more concerned about their GM than the coach, I'm still sick over them trading that pick to Atl rather than choosing Julio Jones. This team has no reliable pass catcher. Weeden is decent but he should just be the place holder for the future franchise QB... And when was the last time the Browns signed a Free Agent that has made an impact..

I honestly don't think the Browns are that far away from competing but I just don't know if they have the right front office people to make the moves necessary..

Being a Browns fan is easily the saddest part of my life :to:

I don't know why I just watched this like 10 straight times. :pachaha:

:dead: @ #5 and @ Adams flailing at the end.

Kinda surprised about the Norv thing. Doesn't seem to have the pieces in place to run his O, except for TRich (who'd fit in almost any system). Guessing Weeden's probably on a short leash, too.

Watching the press conference, here are the highlights...

His Plan on defense: he plans on being an attacking defense, getting turnovers, sacking the QB, stopping the run...

His plans on offense: he plans to be an attacking offense, vertical passing game, but will also focus on the run, for a balance attack.

they asked him if this was the best job for him: he said yea, he would trade anything to be a browns coach..:usure:

will he call the offensive plays : he doesn't know, maybe , depends..

the mans got a plan.. we'll see how it turns out
