I can't speak for some of the posters that posted some suggested things in the thread (Matt/Turek, I'm looking at you), but I can safely and assuredly say that I posted in there because I took a general liking to AJ. 
Her character, and how she portrayed it throughout the angle with Punk and Bryan drew my intrigue, and after finding out that she could also wrestle, and wrestle well, mind you, I became a big fan of hers.
And after reading into her backstory of how she was a long time fan and always wanted to wrestle since she was little, made my heart grow for her even more.
What solidified it for me was how she presented herself out of kayfabe. She wasn't some stuck up pretentious twat. She was sweet, humble, adorkably cute, and one of the most down to earth girls I had ever seen.
And yes, I also find her to be extremely attractive, partly due to the fact it's all her natural self, not an artificial body part to be seen. And even with her self-deprecation at times and her prudeness, it makes me fall for her even more.
So while I don't take it as far as some others might, I am proud to say that I am not ashamed one bit of my appreciation for AJ Lee.
