One thing I found funny about SOHH, everyone hated the way it was run, but nobody appreciated the amount of effort and $$$ it took to keep the place running

Now folks are here + loving it, but balking at the idea of donating to help it retain independence. Well, I hope things remain good, but if they jump on Adsense and shyt goes downhill I will gladly exclaim "I told you so!!!"

hate to discuss another man's money or potential money, but does this site have the mass of users to generate that much in ad revenue? how much was sohh banking? i mean most people don't click on ads so it would take way more traffic than this site have now to get something decent, right?. idk just curious maybe someone with more knowledge on these things would chime in.

also.. let's be real.. we know that everyone on TLR made a 100k/yr but when you look at the objective demographics for the sohh audience let's just say BMW wasn't rushing to place ads there

Bruh I donated... obviously there are some people willing to donate

But some arent

Im just saying, don't complain about the shyt SOHH did to generate revenue, when you're not willing to donate yourself to maintain the place's independence

And people who get banned + post under multiple names have no ground to claim to be "too cool" for a message board.
