Watched the 2 new episodes the other day and they were mid just like the last season

I enjoyed the 2nd episode more again this week with Jake/Amy trying to balance being parents with work life vs the 1st episode tackling the blue flu.

I don't remember if they said what is up with Hitchcock this season and only appearing through video.
Hitchcock retired and moved to Brazil once the pandemic started.

fukk I didn't even realize it was the finale until about halfway through. I hated the two episodes before the finale. Probably the weakest in the show's history IMO but loved the finale. It was over the top as hell with all the twists but I loved all the callbacks.

This season was 50/50 on good vs. meh episodes.
I do wonder if the writing team changed alot when they moved to NBC because the last 3 seasons have been 50/50 while on FOX they were on track on becoming a top 5 sitcom of all time imo.
