Honestly, he should have gone to a mid-major and worked his way up. If you have "it" the league will find you. Hell Steph played at (checks notes) Davidson.
My guess is LeBron realized that Bronny was never going to make it on his own, even with 4 years of college + regular PT.
LBJ knew he needed to get Bronny to the pros while he himself was still in the league and could help force him onto his team. If the goal was to develop him as a hooper, he would have gone to a regular high school. He would have done at least 3 years in college.....but that wasn't the goal.

Maybe but I don’t think it was just about and for Bronny. He wanted the moment for himself too. To say he was the first to play with his son at the highest level and in the greatest league is a hell of a bar. It adds to the story and his legacy. Would be even better if Bronny could somewhat look the part. Not his fault because I don’t think the decision was completely his to go to the NBA. But like many have said that opportunity may not have been there later if he took full advantage of developing at the collegiate level.
