He was in the Eastern conference, winning 66 games is mad easy when you have to play the Bobcats 4 times a year and the Spurs twice.

Plus the team isn't as bad as you make it out to be. It's the perfect team for Bron to pad his stats.

Yet the heat won less than 60 games the last 2 seasons. It was a good accomplishment but people really underrate how bad the east was and well the roster complimented him even if they individually weren't that talented.

Looking back I just don't know how he did it. 66 wins with this team....

2008/2009 Cavs

C Žydrūnas Ilgauskas/Anderson Varejão/Lorenzen Wright
PF Ben Wallace/Joe Smith/Darnell Jackson/J. J. Hickson
SF LeBron James/Wally Szczerbiak/Tarence Kinsey/Jawad Williams
SG Delonte West/Sasha Pavlović
PG Mo Williams /Daniel Gibson

:heh:

:mindblown:

Imagine if they actually won that championship though.. :wow: would have easily contended for GOAT accomplishment :laff:

:merchant: One of the worst top 4 seeds rosters I've ever seen.

That's a decent team though breh.

A bunch of near All Star level players and some solid role players too.

Grant Hill won 54 games with a much more inferior cast in 96-97. That formula Bron and Hill were doing is great for regular season games but gets exposed in the offs.

Hill was my fav player growing up..but cmon take a look at his playoff performance that year

Team was 26-4 against the west :rudy:

Im saying tho, nikkas will say anything to try and downplay an accomplishment. I stopped reading when the nikka said "winning 66 games is mad easy". No winning 60+ games is not easy period. The best NBA record EVER is 72-10, and that took one of the GOAT coaches with the GOAT player and 2 other HOF players. LeBron was only 6 games off that mark with Mike Brown (who just got fired after 5 games with 3 hof players on his team) and the rest of that bum ass cast.
