Most NBA players have Kobe ahead of him still. And most people who actually are old enough to have watched both Kobe and Bron also have Kobe ahead.
It's just the media that has created this false GOAT debate between Bron and Mike. And its only kids who didn't grow up in the 2000s that are falling for it.
He's revered by the media. Not the people. When we talk about him it's in response to the false narratives created by the media. When we talk about Kobe on the other hand it's usually cause some athlete shouted him out and how his legacy impacted them.
There's a reason the term most associated with Kobe is the Mamba Mentality while the term associated with LeBron is King James. Kobe is celebrated by the people while LeBron celebrates himself.
