Back in the 90s if you weren't shotting or rolling deep with certain people, a Stone Island Jacket or Moschino jacket was an advert to get robbed.

Times seem to have changed.
:mjlol: Okay Boyz n the Hood. If you could really afford those things and didn't squander your tax return to get it-- you weren't in areas that required "shotting or deep rolling". You were wearing fubu and dada and shyt like the rest of us.

My dad always told me, you either have hate or hustle in your heart. People with hustle find a way to make shyt happen. People with hatred hate on those making shyt happen.

It is what it is.

I’ve seen old white dudes over here get pissy when they see Muslims pull up in their fancy whips & clothes. They call them “sand ninjas” and assume they got the money to buy their goods through illegal means.
If they see a black man driving a nice whip they assume he’s a shotta- hell, even some black people think like that. This is how they level the playing field in their head when they don’t know how to compete.

“He might have a E Class but my volvo takes me everywhere I need to go!”

You wouldn’t notice labels if you yourself wasn’t materialistic.

Britain as a country has a problem with seeing people prosper in general. They’d rather you get fat, self-deprecate and end up with nothing so they can feel better about not achieving their goals whilst they had youth on their side.

Craig David received so much hate from Brits when he started doing well he moved to a penthouse suite in a hotel in America.

He doesnt know what labels are.

The coat is a warm fukking coat and we’re getting Russian weather this year.

You’re playing high and mighty like you live off the land but guaranteed you typed this from a smartphone.

Non north going Londoner chimes in once more. Also if this school has uniforms like I assume, then really this is just a continuation of that principle :manny:

He’s right but the Center is nice and if you like biracial broads then it’s a go

People are making this about income and wealth and that's not really the point.

The average salary in Liverpool is £23k. That's £1,585.07 after taxes. A Moncler jacket is £750. That's half the salary on a luxury item of clothing only worn 6 months out the year. It's a waste of money.

You can get a warm Nike jacket for £120. M&S £100.

It's a waste of money to keep up with the Joneses.

I earn triple the amount stated. I've never spent more than £375 on a jacket or any item of clothing.

I’m all for this. Kids were pieces of shyt back when I was in school when it came to branded clothing and it was always the ones with nothing in their fridge at home that came in with expensive jackets and had the nerve to talk shyt smh

This is true, but "poverty shaming"?

Are they gone tell students they can't wear Jordan's?

I'm not really feeling this ban on expensive coats.

I vote to ban namebrand clothing and the flossin lifestyle from black communities period. For a while, like 20 years, until we've made some power moves.

The poisoning is double dangerous for our community. Would ease alotta troubles in our community. Give us time to get our minds right. Put all kids in school uniforms.

What about us that actually have money though?:gucci::why:
