@ the WWE making it sound as if they passed on them first, when clearly the news of the Briscoes re-signing with RoH was announced a couple of hours earlier. You know they never wanna make it look like someone spurned. Like they really werent aware of the homophobic tweet years back and they still tried to sign them.

He was never even the best guy in ROH or TNA. If you stopped watching TNA when AJ Styles left then you missed Bobby Lashley's return to wrestling.

thats a loss for WWE...Jay Briscoe is one of the best wrestlers in the world...could have easily seen him as a WWE champ some day. If I could choose 5 wrestlers to sign to the WWE he'd be on the list for sure...Chicken's pretty damn good himself. They def would have shored up the tag team division. WWE should have thrown some more money at them, but I understand why they didnt with the past controversy around Jay.

The heat Dem Boys could generate though. They would be the team you build the division around.

UPDATE x 2: Here are more details on the Briscoes staying with ROH. The feeling is that they signed with the company a few weeks back. WWE sources have confirmed the brothers were made a “top flight NXT level offer”.

The brothers have an investment in ROH, as they have been there since “day one” and have helped to build the company. But the other thing is that they have the family farm and businesses to run in Delaware. With both being married with kids (Jay has three, Mark has three and a fourth on the way) the feeling is that they did not want to uproot their lives to more to Florida for a NXT deal.

There were rumors that Jay Briscoe was offered the ROH booking position in an attempt to get The Briscoes to stay, and that those rumors are not true.

Was listening to a podcast were Rob Naylor - a hardcore fan that became friends with tons of wrestlers and eventually worked in NXT as Dusty's assistant for a couple of years - revealed that him and Bray Wyatt pushed hard as fukk for WWE to sign the Briscoes so they could be part of the Wyatt Family (Bray and Bo worked with them for tryouts a couple of times and hit it off). The stable would've been Bray, Harper and Briscoes Naylor also said he pitched Necro Butcher and Jun Kasai
