San Francisco is literally not an island.
it's peninsula.

yeah, any time i had to go into Manhattan i would take the train or park my car in DUMBO and bike across the Manhattan Bridge or walk the BK Bridge.

Fair enough, but most people in the bay need to travel through bay bridge to get to San Francisco and thats connected through an island.

For y’all states that don’t pay state tax this is how they get their money back

I hope it’s worth it :yeshrug:
But we pay state taxes :damn:

and they fired legitimately 100% of toll workers :damn:

Bay area has the worst nightlife amenities for a major metropolitan in the nation, I don’t understand the confusion(smaller clubs, less big talent, clubs need to clear out by 2 am). Far as shopping goes, compared to other major metropolitans where you can find nice stores until late night (10-11 pm closing), most high end stores in SF close between 5-7. Majority of those at 6. Same with majority of high end restaurants close at 9 while other major metropolitan high end restaurants stay open til 11 pm or even later.

The amenities are extremely limited in the bay.

I knew each borough had a toll for the bridge, but I ain't know it was both ways. 9.50 both ways? :picard: I need to check my EZ-Pass more
Theres free ways. Williamsburg, Manhattan bridge and Brooklyn Bridge are free. The tunnel from brooklyn to manhattan is a toll

I usually take the Brooklyn bridge to avoid the battery tunnel and never sit in traffic except the small section between the tunnel and the bk bridge exit.

the queens midtown tunnel literally takes you right into Manhattan street traffic.

only the tri Borough bridge, throggs neck and Whitestone bridge make sense to me

the Whitestone Bridge is pretty much your only option to travel between the Bx and Queens by car if i'm not mistaken.
